Beat the Pro – Coinmerce Padel Challenge

The “Beat the Pro – Coinmerce Padel Challenge” (the “Event”) is organised by Coinmerce B.V. (“Coinmerce”), in collaboration with X3, participating athletes, and the designated content host (collectively the “Organisers”). The Event is subject to the following Terms & Conditions.

By participating in the Event, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Event Details

1.1 The Event will take place on 16-02

1.2 Locations:

• Peakz Padel Amsterdam
  
  

• Padellers Zuid
  
  

1.3 The Event consists of amateur participants competing in short padel rounds (“Beat the Pro”) against professional padel athletes under special gameplay conditions (“Handicaps”).

1.4 The format, match structure, and duration per round depend on the number of participants:

• Fewer than 10 participants: tiebreak up to 10 points (approx. 10 minutes per pair).
  
  

• 10–20 participants: tiebreak up to 7 points (approx. 5–10 minutes per pair).
  
  

• Maximum capacity: 20 participants.
  
  

Coinmerce reserves the right to adjust match format or structure for operational or safety reasons.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Event is open to individuals aged 18 years or older.

2.2 Participants must:

• Be legally resident in a country where Coinmerce offers its services.
  
  

• Have a verified Coinmerce account (including completed identity verification and bank verification) if they wish to receive a crypto voucher prize.
  
  

2.3 Employees of Coinmerce B.V., affiliated partners directly involved in the Event organisation, and their immediate family members are not eligible to receive financial or crypto-based prizes.

3. Participation Requirements

3.1 Participants must register via the designated landing page or registration form.

3.2 Prior to participation, all participants must sign:

• A marketing & media consent form.
  
  

• An injury & liability waiver.
  
  

Failure to sign these documents will result in ineligibility to participate.

3.3 Participants must comply with:

• Official padel rules.
  
  

• Instructions from the host and organisers.
  
  

• Safety guidelines of the venue.
  
  

Non-compliance may result in immediate disqualification without entitlement to any prize.

4. Gameplay & Handicap Mechanism

4.1 Each participating pair will compete against the professional athletes.

4.2 At the start of each round, a random “Handicap” will be drawn and must be applied by the professional players.

4.3 Handicaps may include, but are not limited to:

• Playing with one shared racket
  
  

• Playing with the weaker hand
  
  

• Mandatory trick shots
  
  

• Movement restrictions
  
  

• Prop-based challenges
  
  

4.4 The Organisers reserve the right to modify or remove any handicap for safety or fairness reasons.

5. Prizes

5.1 If the participating pair wins their match against the professionals, they will receive one of the following prizes:

• A signed shirt (non-monetary prize), OR
  
  

• A €50 Coinmerce crypto voucher
  
  

Prize type may be determined by the Organisers.

5.2 All participants who do not win may be eligible for a €15 Coinmerce starter bonus (“Pity Prize”), subject to verification and compliance requirements.

6. Crypto Voucher & Bonus Conditions

6.1 To receive a crypto voucher or starter bonus:

• The participant must have a fully verified Coinmerce account.
  
  

• Identity and bank verification must be completed.
  
  

• No active customer screening may be pending at the time of reward allocation.
  
  

6.2 The €50 voucher and €15 bonus:

• Will be credited in crypto assets determined by Coinmerce.
  
  

• Will be distributed within 7 working days after the Event.
  
  

• Cannot be converted directly into fiat with the sole intent of immediate withdrawal.
  
  

6.3 Bonus Asset Handling:

• Bonus assets cannot be dusted, manually liquidated, or exchanged below platform minimum trading thresholds.
  
  

• Assets may only be sold or swapped once they meet the minimum platform trading value (currently €10 or higher).
  
  

6.4 In case compliance checks are ongoing, reward distribution may be delayed until screening is successfully completed.

7. Reward Restrictions & Anti-Abuse

7.1 Each participant is eligible to win one prize only.

7.2 Coinmerce reserves the right to withhold, revoke, or adjust rewards in cases of:

• Fraud
  
  

• Abuse of the promotion
  
  

• Manipulation of gameplay
  
  

• Violation of platform Terms & Conditions
  
  

• Suspicious or unlawful activity
  
  

7.3 Decisions made by Coinmerce regarding prize allocation are final and binding.

8. Filming, Photography & Media Use

8.1 The Event will be filmed and photographed.

8.2 By participating, participants consent to:

• Being recorded on video and photographed.
  
  

• The use of their image, voice, and likeness for marketing and promotional purposes across social media, websites, paid advertisements, and other marketing channels.
  
  

8.3 No compensation will be provided for media usage.

9. Liability & Safety

9.1 Participation is at the participant’s own risk.

9.2 Coinmerce B.V., its partners, athletes, host, and venues are not liable for:

• Personal injury

• Property damage

• Loss or theft of belongings
  
  

9.3 Participants are responsible for wearing appropriate sportswear and equipment.

10. Event Modifications & Cancellation

10.1 Coinmerce reserves the right to:

• Modify the Event format.
  
  

• Adjust prize structure.
  
  

• Suspend or cancel the Event due to unforeseen circumstances.
  
  

10.2 In the event of cancellation, no compensation shall be owed beyond prizes already awarded.

11. General Legal & Compliance

11.1 The Event is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.

11.2 Coinmerce’s general Terms & Conditions apply in addition to these Event-specific Terms.

11.3 Coinmerce reserves the exclusive right to final interpretation of these Terms & Conditions.

12. Privacy

By participating in the Event, individuals consent to the collection, processing, and storage of their personal data in accordance with Coinmerce’s Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.
